This is my story.

My name is Rev. Fr. Julius Chiedozie Nwosu,SDV. I was born on the 23rd of August, 1980, in Imo State, Nigeria.

My journey to the priesthood and religious life began as an altar boy and a lector. I thank God for the opportunity of meeting some seminarians and priests who inspired me the more.

Having obtained my Secondary School Certificate in 2002, I joined the Religious Congregation of the Society of Divine Vocations, (Vocationist fathers and brothers) in 2003, and took my first profession of vows on 28th of August 2005.

I underwent my academic and formative years in Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary Bodija Ibadan, in Nigeria where I obtained my BA(Hons) Philosophy in 2009. As it pleased the Lord, I took my perpetual profession of vows on the 23rd of August, 2009 and proceeded to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Theology in 2013.

I was ordained a priest on the 16th of August 2013, by Most Rev. Hilary Paul Okeke, the Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Nigeria. After my Ordination, I received an appointment to serve as a formator in St. Justin Russolillo’s Vocationary (Vocationist fathers) for some years in Ibadan, and later proceeded for some parish priestly ministry as an assistant Priest in Saints Anthony and Patrick Parish in Ibeku Ahiara Diocese, Nigeria.

Presently in the Diocese of Grand Falls, Newfoundland, Canada, I am humbly serving as the Parish Priest and administrator of Corpus Christi Parish Northern Bay, Assumption Parish Bay de Verde, and the mission Church, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Kingston.
